DESCRIPTION
Meet Ozzie!
Ozzie is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd weighing 17 pounds. This very friendly and sweet boy has a playful personality and enjoys spending time with people. He often seeks out attention and affection and is happiest when he is close to his humans.
Ozzie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys social interaction with canine companions. His friendly nature makes him a great fit for a home with other dogs or as a beloved companion to an active family.
Ozzie has a fenced yard requirement. A secure fenced yard will give him a safe space to play, run, and enjoy his time outdoors while continuing to build confidence and burn off energy.
If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who enjoys both people and other dogs, Ozzie may be the perfect match.
We require an in-person meet and greet at our shelter location to help ensure that Ozzie is a great fit for his future family and that his future family is a great fit for him.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
