It’s Doodle time!
Bentley is a 10-month-old Goldendoodle with big feelings, long legs, and he's trying to figure out both at once.
He knows sit, and when he remembers what you asked, he sits up tall with regal composure. Every other movement looks like two people in a horse costume.
Bentley can seem reactive with both new people and dogs, but what we’re seeing is a puppy who gets excited and unsure all at once. The more people and dogs he meets, the more comfortable he becomes, especially with dogs. He has already decided that shelter staff are for sitting on, and we don’t want to ruin his dreams of becoming a 60-pound lap dog.
Bentley is goofy, affectionate, full-throttle, and still learning his social etiquette. Basically, he’s a big puppy learning how to be a dog. Doodles often need owners prepared for their high-energy and training needs, and Bentley will need someone willing to put in the time and consistency to help him reach his potential.
