For seven long years, Laura, a beautiful mini Goldendoodle, knew only one job — producing puppies for an Amish breeding facility. She was a puppy-making machine, never knowing the joys of simply being someone’s beloved companion.

But those days are OVER, and Laura’s beautiful new chapter is just beginning!

At seven years young, Laura is finally discovering what it means to just be a dog, and let me tell you, she is loving every second of it!

Laura is calm yet playful, curious yet sometimes shy, and has the sweetest personality. One of her greatest discoveries has been the magic of human touch. She absolutely LOVES being held, cuddled, and showered with the affection she has gone without for so many years. If there’s an available lap, you can bet Laura would love to be in it!

And guess what else she’s discovered? The simple pleasure of being outside, lounging on a cot, basking in the warm sunshine without a care in the world. Something so ordinary to most dogs is an extraordinary experience for Laura.

Laura’s veterinary care:

Before adoption, Laura will be spayed, brought up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, and receive a blood panel that includes screening for tick-borne illnesses. We want her new family to have a good understanding of her health as they begin their journey together.
