Meet Nori
Nori is the kind of dog who takes her time. New people, new places, and unexpected surprises can feel like a lot, but beneath that cautious first impression is a sweet, gentle girl who just wants to feel safe.
At three years old, this beautiful 25ish pound, medium-sized Goldendoodle is learning that the world isn't quite as scary as she once thought. She's making wonderful progress with her foster, and every day her confidence grows a little more. Once Nori knows you, her affectionate side shines through. She loves being close to her people and is wonderfully soft, cuddly, and content simply soaking up their company. She enjoys the company of other dogs, settles into familiar routines, and finds comfort in a calm, predictable home.
Nori would thrive with a patient family who understands that trust is something to build, not rush. Because she barks at unfamiliar people and passing dogs, she is not suited for apartment or condo living. A home with a yard or a quieter setting where she doesn't have constant foot traffic around her will help her continue building confidence.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that has transport available.
Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
