Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle Dogs Available for Adoption in Mason City, Illinois

Would you look at this cutie. He really isn't as much of a handful as the yes-and-no behavior listings make it seem. Gus loves every person he meets and is even somewhat gentle around kids. We have had him hanging around with other dogs in the yard, playing with toys and rough housing, but he competes for human attention and doesn't like to share it with the other dogs. He has spent time around cats at the shelter, and while he gives them the eye and waits to see if they will run, he doesn't have what we would consider a prey drive that has him lunging for them on first sight.

Gus is just a young buck that grew up competing with his siblings in an environment with no cats and few people. We would suggest he go to an only dog home just so he can get used to what a consistent household where he doesn't have to compete for everything is like. However, someone with the right experience and training approach could probably make Gus fit into just about any home.
