Bella is super sweet, calm, and affectionate dog. She's really bonded with me already and loves to just hang out nearby—if I sit down, she'll come curl up right next to me or on my laps. She loves pets and cuddles.
She's very quiet too—no barking at people coming in or other dogs. Just a really easy presence in the house.
She's great on walks and enjoy being outside. She's not a runner even when the door is open. She listens very well.
She's also been amazing in the car—very calm, no anxiety.
Her appetite is great—she eats everything we give her (Chicken sweet potatoes, broccolis mixed with some dog food). She loves apple and carrots. She had a diarrhea the first few days probably due to nervousness and high anxiety, but her digestive system is completely normal now.
She also picked up the doggy door quickly and freely goes outside to do her business. Hasn't had any accidents and I consider her completely house trained.
With our dog Charlie, she's been totally fine. She's just not interested in interacting at all, more keeps to herself. Not playful with other dogs. I think she can be perfectly happy even if she is the only dog.
A couple things to note:
She has separation anxiety, especially with me. Somebody's always at home but whenever I am away , my husband says that she whimpers and bark pretty much the entire time, pacing back and force in the house, and the backyard. I am not sure if that is something that she will get over eventually.
She's also a little cautious with new people , but nothing extreme—just takes her a bit to warm up, just like she did with me.
Overall:
She's a really lovely, easygoing dog who just wants to be close to her person. I think she'll do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, so she can feel secure and safe.
