Meet Cooper — A Sweet Senior With a Young-at-Heart Spirit!

Cooper is back in RAGOM land and ready to find his forever home! At 11 years old, this handsome guy is playful, affectionate, smart, and surprisingly energetic for a senior.

Cooper is deaf with very limited hearing, but that hasn’t slowed him down. He quickly learned hand signals for commands like “come,” “sit,” and “go,” and he’s a very eager student. He loves his people, enjoys snuggling, playing fetch, swimming in the lake, and even going for golf cart rides!

Cooper does have arthritis, but with medication and shorter walks, he’s moving comfortably and enjoying life. He can be mouthy and excitable during play, so children 15+ who understand his boundaries would be the best fit. He has also shown some reactivity toward other dogs while on leash.

His ideal home would be a quiet country setting with a fenced yard where he can safely explore. Most of all, Cooper needs a family committed to making this his forever home—a place where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love, companionship, and plenty of fun.
