Golden Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Los Angeles, California
TESSA
Golden Retriever

Los Angeles, California

female, large, young
DESCRIPTION
The operative word for Tessa is happy. This 2-year-old girl is full of youthful energy and gets genuinely excited to meet both people and other dogs — accompanied by plenty of enthusiastic tail wags. When she’s not hovering nearby for head rubs, or circling your legs trying to get your attention, she’s happily flopping over for belly rubs. We’ve also noticed that she has a very soft mouth.
Tessa came to Rescue as an owner surrender. We’re told she previously lived with cats and enjoys swimming in the pool. She has had a fair amount of training, though she may benefit from a little refresher guidance. Maybe she just has some anxiety from her temporary location?
We’re still getting to know Tessa better. But once she is spayed, we believe she will be ready to make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Because we do require pre-adoption screening and post-adoption follow-up, we cannot support adoptions outside of this service area.
If you have a current application on file and would like to inquire about this dog, please email adoptions@grcglarescue.org. Otherwise, please make sure to complete the online adopter application found at http://www.grcglarescue.org/adopt before sending your inquiry.
