Remy is a 10-year-old gentleman who knows what it means to survive—and now, he’s finally learning what it means to be safe and loved.
When Remy was found on Skid Row, he was nearly lifeless. He had likely been wandering the streets for days, maybe even weeks, searching for the most basic necessities: a meal, a safe place to rest, and a drink of water. He was skin and bones, covered in fleas, and had so little energy that he could barely stand on all four legs.
We weren’t sure if Remy would make it. But we knew we had to try.
And Remy did, too.
Today, he is a completely different dog. He has gained weight, his fleas are long gone, and he no longer has to wonder where his next meal or drink of water will come from. He is safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who believe he deserves the very best chapter of his life.
Remy is a quiet, gentle, and well-mannered guy. He doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a little kindness, and someone to love him. He enjoys going for walks, although he takes things very slowly and prefers to explore at his own pace. And honestly, that’s just Remy’s way of reminding us to slow down and enjoy the fresh air, the sunshine, and all the little things along the way.
After everything Remy has been through, he deserves a forever home where he can simply be a dog—where his days are peaceful, his belly is full, and he knows he is loved.
Remy may be 10, but his story isn’t over. His best days can still be ahead of him.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet senior who doesn’t need much except love, Remy would be so grateful to spend his golden years with you.
