Meet Calvin!
Calvin is a handsome one-year-old Golden Retriever mix with a mellow, easygoing personality and a playful, curious side. He is fully house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows how to sit. He enjoys walks, car rides, playing with toys, swimming, and, just as much, relaxing and enjoying some quiet time with his favorite person.
Calvin is a true people dog who loves being by your side. He is affectionate and even considers himself a bit of a lap dog! He is comfortable with men, women, children, and seniors, and he enjoys the company of both dogs and cats. He is also a respectful boy who does not destroy things in the house.
One of Calvin’s favorite places is his crate, which he happily uses as his own safe and comfortable space. He is a quiet boy who rarely barks and has a low activity level, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more laid-back pup.
Calvin’s ideal home would be a calm, loving home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely enjoy some outdoor time. He does have one little quirk: he is nervous about going outside by himself and prefers to have his person with him. A family who will patiently accompany him outside and continue building his confidence would be a wonderful match. If there isnât a fenced yard, regular walks and opportunities for car rides and adventures with his person would work well too.
Most of all, Calvin wants to be with his people. If you are looking for a sweet, mellow, affectionate boy who will happily follow you around and then curl up beside you, Calvin may be your perfect match!
