Howdy! I'm Buck!

I'm a 4–5-month-old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix, and if you're looking for a best friend with a heart full of love...I think you've found him!

Everyone says I'm oh-so-sweet, and honestly, I just love making people smile. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Cuddles? Absolutely! Following my favorite humans around? That's one of my favorite hobbies.

I'm still a puppy, so the world is one big adventure waiting to be explored. I love to play, learn new things, and discover every interesting smell along the way. I'm growing into a smart, loyal boy who just wants to make my family proud.

Whether we're going on walks, tossing a ball in the yard, or relaxing on the couch after a fun-filled day, I'm happiest when I'm with my people. I promise to bring plenty of puppy kisses, wagging tails, goofy moments, and unconditional love wherever I go.

I'm looking for a forever family that will help me learn, grow, and become the incredible companion I know I can be. In return, I'll give you my whole heart—and trust me, it's a pretty big one!

New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue is a foster based dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to help adoptable German Shepherds find loving homes. Many of our dogs come from high-kill shelters, so we may not have a lot of background information, but we make it a priority to get to know each dog and share what we learn with you. These wonderful dogs have, more often than not, been loyal family pets and have lost their homes through no fault of their own.
