Meet Bear! Bear is an young (just under a year) Golden Retriever/Labrador mix with a heart of gold and the sweetest smile you'll ever see. He's a loving, goofy puppy who wants nothing more than to be with his people. Bear gets along well with children, other dogs, and other animals, making him a wonderful family companion. After being separated from his littermate due to littermate syndrome, Bear has truly flourished. He's doing great with training, learning to walk nicely on a leash, sit, stay, and other basic commands. He's eager to please, smart, and loves positive reinforcement. Bear is still a playful puppy with lots of love to give and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and making him part of their daily lives. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Bear is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.
