Meet Golden Gus!! Gus seems to have taken himself for an adventure, and with no ID to lead us back to his home, he's remained unclaimed here! Gus is a Golden Retriever who appears to be around a year old. Gus is handsome and athletic - while Goldens are generally considered to be laid back family dogs, Gus has a lot of energy and a lot to learn! At this time we think he would do best in an adult-only home where someone can continue to mold him into the perfect boy we know he wants to be! Gus knows some basic commands and DEFINITELY seems to be potty trained (yay!). Gus has indicated he would prefer to be the only pet in his future home - he gets over threshold quickly during dog introductions, but we will keep working with him as long as he is here in hopes of improving his social skills! Gus is PASSIONATE about food and also loves every person he meets! He is a smart guy who wants to please so with the right home we are confident he'll be a champion in no time!!
