Lady is such a lovely, gentle, happy girl who recently went through a big surgery to have her severely damaged rear leg removed. She is mild mannered, quiet, affectionate, gentle, great with people and other dogs. Unfortunately for Lady, the family who gave her up to animal control claimed she was “faking” her injury, so they chose not to get her any treatment. When we got her to our vet, the old break had been so severe and her muscle had deteriorated so badly that the only option was to remove her leg. Fortunately, she feels SO much better and is navigating the world beautifully on three legs.
