🐾 Meet Bentley 🐾 5 yrs
Bentley is a beautiful Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees mix looking for a loving new home due to severe allergies with new baby. He’s a loyal, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people, kids, and playing with other dogs.

• Male, neutered
• Over 50 lbs
• Microchipped
• Vaccinations, bloodwork, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention all up to date in 2025
• No known medical issues or allergies
💛 Personality
Bentley is incredibly loving and loyal. He wants to be close to his people and would happily sleep beside you, though he’s also content on the bedroom floor or a cool spot in the house. He loves car rides, dog parks, running, fetching balls, and spending time with his family.
He knows several commands including:
✔ Sit
✔ Lie down
✔ Paw / Other paw
✔ Wait for food
🐶 Social Behavior
• Loves people and children
• Enjoys playing with other dogs
• Curious about cats and may run toward them to play because of his size
• Does not enjoy rough “play fighting” and will bark to stop it
🏡 House Manners
• Fully house trained
• Can stay home for 6–8 hours
• No separation anxiety, though he may bark briefly when you leave
• Will bark at strangers or the doorbell until he gets familiar with people
⚠ Things to Know
• Bentley can pull on leash unless he’s had exercise first. A gentle leader works perfectly for this.
• If a door or gate is left open, he may take off exploring
• Counter-surfs and steals food if given the opportunity
• Has growled if someone accidentally stepped on his fur
• Destroyed toys before, but not household items
• Prefers eating from bowls placed on the ground (not elevated feeders)
Bentley did have one incident where he snapped at another dog around food, which helped the family discover his dislike of raised food dishes.
🐕 Ideal Home
Bentley would thrive with an active family who can give him exercise, attention, and lots of love. A securely fenced yard and experience with larger breeds would be a bonus.

Bentley has been deeply loved since he was a puppy, and the family is committed to finding him the right forever home.

🐶MEET SKYE 🐶 4 yrs
Skye is a beautiful white female White Swiss Shepherd. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, house trained, and incredibly loyal once she bonds with her people.
Personality
Skye has been an anxious dog since puppyhood and is very shy around new people. She will usually bark and hide near someone she trusts when unfamiliar visitors enter the home. However, once she gets to know you, she becomes deeply affectionate and never wants to leave your side.
She is wonderful with:
Other dogs
Children (after proper introductions)
People she trusts
She has never shown aggression toward people or animals.
Energy & Exercise
Skye is extremely athletic and fast — she absolutely loves playing fetch and going to the dog park. A fenced backyard would be ideal for her because she enjoys running and burning off energy safely.
She does have prey drive toward squirrels, birds, and rabbits.
Training & Habits
Skye knows several commands including:
Sit
Shake a paw
Lie down
Recall
She is fully house trained and sleeps on the floor beside the bed. She is not destructive and does not guard food or toys.
Leash walking is still a challenge due to her anxiety. She has a tendency to slip out of harnesses and run back toward home.
Separation Anxiety
Skye’s biggest challenge is separation anxiety — especially when separated from her “big brother” Bentley. She is very dependent on him for confidence and comfort. When with Bentley, she is calm and relaxed, but without him she becomes extremely stressed and fearful.
A previous rehoming attempt was unsuccessful because Skye struggled emotionally without Bentley and became too anxious to go outside comfortably.
Skye would do best:
In a patient, quiet home
With another confident dog
Preferably with Bentley if possible
With adopters experienced with anxious dogs
Health
Spayed
Vaccinated (2025)
Microchipped
No known medical issues
No known allergies
Why She Needs a New Home
Skye is being rehomed due to severe allergies affecting a new baby in the household. This is an extremely difficult decision made out of necessity, not because of any behavioral concerns.
Final Notes
Once Skye trusts you, she is incredibly loving, loyal, gentle, and devoted. She simply needs patience, understanding, and ideally another dog companion to help her feel secure.
She deserves a home where she can continue building confidence while feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering adoption.
