Meet Fritz

Fritz was left at a PetSmart at just around 6 weeks old after someone nearly hit him in the street.

Now approximately 8 weeks old, Fritz is thriving and showing us more of his personality every single day. From everything we can tell, he appears to be a German Wirehaired Pointer or GWP mix. He has the classic markings, facial structure, oversized paws, and based on his current growth, we expect him to be around 50+ lbs fully grown.

Medical:
* Fully vaccinated for his age
* Dewormed
* Microchipped
* On monthly flea & heartworm prevention

Fritz is incredibly special. He has a spunky, fun-loving personality with the perfect mix of puppy chaos and sweet cuddles. Like most puppies, he still sleeps a good portion of the day, but when hes awake hes playful, curious, adventurous, and always looking for something to do. Per his breed, he has moderate energy and is extremely intelligent. He loves enrichment toys, puzzles, and anything that challenges his brain.

He already knows his name and comes running when called, and we are currently working on learning how to sit. Hes eager to learn and incredibly food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding with him.

He is just beginning to learn how to sleep independently, so his future family should be prepared for continued crate training and puppy structure. Right now, hes an early riser and likes to start his day around 4:30 AM. Puppies - especially working breeds - require patience, consistency, time, and commitment, and Fritz deserves a family ready to invest in all of those things.

He is incredibly loving, friendly, and social. Fritz does wonderful with people, children, and other dogs. He is currently teething, so he can be a little mouthy in true puppy fashion, which means supervision around younger kids is important while he continues learning boundaries.

Fritz has his entire beautiful life ahead of him. Hes resilient, smart, goofy, and already so deeply loved by all of us. We are truly looking for the perfect forever family for this very special boy who has completely won us over. Hes just perfect.

Our primary rescue is based in Houston, Texas. We work with foster homes across multiple regions, which allows us to post adoptable dogs outside our immediate area. Transport is available to approved adopters.
