Paige is only 5 months old and already 37.4 lbs of puppy love! She was rescued from one of Houstons high-intake shelters after an amazing foster stepped up and gave her the chance she desperately needed.

Paige was originally found as a stray and taken to the city shelter, where the loud, unfamiliar environment left her extremely scared and overwhelmed. But everything began to change the moment her foster family picked her up.

Since leaving the shelter, Paige has blossomed into the sweetest little girl. She currently lives with children and other dogs and blended right into her foster family.

Paige can still be a little standoffish when meeting new people, but she is gaining confidence more and more every day. Once she realizes she is safe, her sweet personality starts to shine.

Paiges ideal home would be with a patient and understanding family who knows that she may need a little time to decompress and feel comfortable. She has already come so far, and with continued love, patience, and reassurance, we know she is going to make an incredible companion.
