Genesis aka Genny is a shepherd/terrier mix born March 2022, approx. 40 lbs. She is the kind of dog that needs patience, gentle handling, and people who understand that trust is earned slowly. Genny prefers to take the lead and move at her own pace while building that trust. But once that trust is built, she will be a loyal companion for life.
Genny will do best in a calm, predictable home where she can cuddle and stay close to her person. She would do best in a home with one or two adults and no other pets. Slow introductions are important for both people and other animals.
Genny is potty and doggy door trained. She is low energy and doesn’t require walks and rides. Once she trusts you she is affectionate & loves to snuggle, she will literally jump for joy when you wake up and come home!
Her person recently passed and they were best friends. What she needs most is someone patient enough to let her create that bond again.
