Maggie - The Gentle Shy Girl With the Softest Heart

Maggie is a medium to large sweetheart (65 lbs) and about 1.5-2 years old, with a beautiful grey and white coat and the kindest eyes. She's a young girl with an old soul - gentle, thoughtful, and quietly affectionate once she feels safe.

Personality & Social Life
Maggie is a shy girl at first, especially with new people, but she warms up beautifully. Once she decides you're her person, she becomes a total lovebug who leans in for belly rubs and gentle pets.

She does great with other dogs, especially at dog parks, and she absolutely adored playing with her foster's pittie, Nila. Cats and kids are still unknown, but her soft nature suggests she'll do well with slow introductions.

Home Life & Training
Kennel trained, but also perfectly behaved when relaxing in the house

Knows: sit, down, go lay down, and has great recall

Working on: leash manners and confidence around new dogs

Energy level: medium to low - she enjoys her daily walks and playtime, but she's also a champion lounger

Maggie rides wonderfully in the car, whether she's in the front seat or tucked into her kennel. She's easy, quiet, and calm.

Out and About
On walks, Maggie is polite and observant. She doesn't bark or react to other dogs, scooters, bikes, or busy environments. She's simply unsure of unfamiliar dogs and needs a little patience as she learns the world is safe.

Cute Quirks & Sweet Moments
Once she trusts you, Maggie becomes the cuddliest companion - she'll nudge your hand for pets, flop over for belly rubs, and happily curl up next to you. She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly sweet. Her foster says she's the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people and feel loved.
