Pearl - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Thibodaux, Louisiana

Pearl is looking for a foster or adopter that is experienced with working breeds and understands a dog with prey drive. She is very well trained and has had some e-collar work in the past. She is housebroken, crates well and is excellent in a vehicle. Well mannered in public and is friendly and social with humans. She is not dog aggressive or reactive but she doesn’t know how to properly play or interact off leash. She is not a candidate for dog parks or homes with more than one other dog.
She is good with kids but again can become very overstimulated if there is chaos around her.
Not a barker but will alert when someone drives up or comes to door. She has always been social with new people but given her breed can seem imposing.
She does have allergies which are proving to be manageable and we will of course cover costs for fosters and for adopters we will cover any related costs for a year after adoption. She is heartworm negative, just had her vaccinations updated and is of course spayed and chipped.
We would love an adopter but a foster would be a great help as well.
