Tate is a beautiful 7-month-old German Shepherd who has her whole life ahead of her and is hoping that life includes a family of her very own.

At just seven months old, Tate is still very much a puppy. She's at that wonderful age where she's growing, learning, and discovering who she is. With a family willing to give her the time, guidance, consistency, and love every young dog deserves, she has so much potential to become an incredible lifelong companion.

Tate is still new to us, so we're getting to know her. We don't yet know how she does with other dogs, cats, or children, and we don't want to make promises about things we haven't had the opportunity to learn. What we do know is that this sweet girl deserves the chance to grow up somewhere she belongs.

German Shepherds are intelligent, loyal dogs who often thrive when they have both physical activity and opportunities to use their minds. Tate is young enough that her new family will get to be part of so many important firsts--building her confidence, teaching her new things, taking her on adventures, and showing her just how wonderful life with a family can be.

She shouldn't have to spend these important puppy months growing up in a shelter.

Tate is looking for someone who sees beyond the kennel and sees the dog she can become. Someone ready to put in the time now and, in return, have the chance to build a bond that could last a lifetime.
