Breed: German Shepherd.

Baby Whiskey was dumped at Animal Control as a stray. He was ill, underweight and terrified.
He was completely overwhelmed and shut down at the shelter and a SOAR foster just couldn't resist busting him out. In just a couple weeks this little guy is a happy, goofy and super sweet puppy. Whiskey is in doggy daycamp with friends of all ages and sizes. He's 99% house trained and gives very clear clues when he needs a potty break. He loves his crate at night and will lead his foster to his crate when he's ready to be tucked in.

He is a very smart and trainable puppy and will be a beloved and faithful family member in the right home. He is shy at first and needs just a little time to trust and warm up, but when he does, he's a snuggly, loving little boy.
Whiskey will be all ready to go in just a few weeks. He will come fully vetted, altered, and microchipped.

He does wrestle and aggravate like any little brother, so any other dogs in the house need to be patient, yet firm, to teach him the ways of the good boy

Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation.

All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.
