Lucy Lou - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Shingle Springs, California

Well hello there! Glad to meet you, I'm Lucy! I'm a 1.5 year old Shepherd, malinois mix maybe? At least that's what the shelter thought. I'm a very sweet, active gal with a heart of gold. I had a family once, but when I ended up in the shelter they bailed. Now I'm looking at getting my life back together and finding my forever home.

I am working on getting some obedience under my collar but at my age I can be a bit distracted. An active, outgoing famiy, willing to spend time on training and to help me feel at home would be the best fit. I am great with people, but can still be a bit mouthy when I'm excited so older children or those families experiened with working dogs is encouraged.

I'm working on being neutral around other dogs, as I can get a bit excited when playing.

Now I"m working on figuring my place at the rescue and waiting for a foster of forever home. I'll tell you more about myself once I've settle in a bit.

I am spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
