Meet Winter! ❄️

Winter, a 6 month old German Shepherd mix, truly lives up to his name—he’s a calm, gentle sweetheart with a soft soul. While he can be a bit shy at first, with patience (and a few tasty treats!), he warms up and begins to enjoy affection and companionship.

Winter is growing more confident every day, and as he does, his playful and goofy personality is starting to shine through. He loves playing with his foster sibling, relaxing on the couch, and, of course, enjoying his favorite treats.

He is fully potty trained and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate like a perfect gentleman. Winter is currently working on leash training and making great progress. True to his German Shepherd nature, he loves being close to his people and likes to keep track of where everyone is in the home.

Winter does wonderful with cats and politely ignores them. He would thrive in a calm, structured household with a patient adopter who understands shy pups and is willing to continue building his confidence. Having another confident dog in the home would help him feel even more secure.

With time, love, and encouragement, Winter will blossom into an incredibly loyal, loving, and devoted companion—the kind of dog who will always want to be right by your side.
