Drako - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Sand Lake, Florida

Drako is a 1-year-old male German Shepherd X who was rescued from a life chained up in South TX. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dog & kid friendly, potty, leash, and crate trained with basic obedience, and ready to find a family to call his own! Prospective adopters should lead an active lifestyle conducive to GSD ownership.


Drako is available through PetProjectUSA's rural community assistance program, which provides medical care, boarding, and networking to pets rescued from desolate areas with scarce animal welfare resources.

He will be flown to Florida when a committed foster-to-adopt family has been found. After a 2-week trial period, F2A families may either elect to finalize the adoption, or continue to foster while alternate placement is selected after an Orlando Meet & Greet process.
