Slim is an incredibly gentle and intuitive German Shepherd who's blossoming in his foster home. He's curious and thoughtful, and while he's a little shy at first, he's a devoted listener who looks to you for guidance and comfort. You can tell he's had good training and previous care—he knows sit and down, is crate-trained, and understands markers beautifully.

This sweet boy has wonderful manners and gets along great with other dogs! He's particularly bonded with his foster dad, who he basically follows around the house. He's still settling in and gaining his strength, but he's already showing so much promise. At his vet checkup, he remained calm even when examined, and while he did fixate on other dogs in the waiting room, he never reacted negatively.

Still Learning:
Slim is working on his leash skills and would benefit from continued practice. He's a bit nervous getting in and out of the car, and like many dogs who've been through changes, he can be cautious when meeting new people (especially in enclosed spaces). He'll need time and positive experiences to build confidence in new situations.
