Cleo is a very playful girl. She loves dog parks; she gets along very well and is much more comfortable when there are other dogs of the same age and energy level at home.
Cleo is housebroken, will always gravitate to dogs first, and humans 2nd. She is super dainty, like more like a girl with a pink tutu and pink high tops.
Once she gets to know her humans, she will attach herself with love and trust. She isnt demanding at all; at times, anything new will require a little patience for her to get used to (this is where having a dog to show her around is key)
Cleo will need her emotional support dog at home. A dog that is sure-footed and can take her under their wing by showing her a home is a beautiful and, more importantly, safe place to be.
An adult, quiet home only is best for Cleo.
We have no information on small dogs, cats, or birds at home
Please visit http://www.coastalk9gsr.org/ to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs: https://www.coastalk9gsr.org/team to see further descriptions. If you are interested in me, please contact us at information@coastalgsrsd.org or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application: https://www.coastalk9gsr.org/applications. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
