Meet Zeus!
Zeus is a 4-year-old male German Shepherd looking for a loving new home. He is neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and a very lovable boy once he bonds with you. Zeus is extremely well behaved and has excellent house manners. He is fully house trained, and is not destructive. Zeus is affectionate and bonded to his people. He is great with the family's children. Zeus has been with the same family since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, they're separating and neither partner can take him. Before we judge that they should take Zeus with them, let's give them credit for asking rescue to help rehome him rather than dumping him at the shelter Not everyone is in the same financial situation and this family is doing the best they can.
Zeus can take a little time to warm up and build trust, but once he does, he is incredibly loving and loyal.
Things Zeus loves:
• Playing ball
• Plush toys (although he will happily destroy them in record time )
• Spending time both indoors and outdoors
• Going for walks — he prefers doing his business while he’s out walking
• Being around the people he has bonded with
A few things to know about Zeus:
• He is completely house-trained and has not had an accident indoors since he was 6 months old.
• He does not destroy furniture or household items. Zeus is extremely well behaved
• A raised/raised-platform dog bed works best for him. I
• Zeus has food allergies, but with the right food, he does really well!
Zeus is a wonderful dog who deserves a home that understands his personality, gives him time to bond, and can provide the love, structure, and care he needs.
