Hi, I'm Aurora! My name might remind you of the Northern Lights, but I'm hoping to bring something even better into your life: a little light, a lot of love, and plenty of adventures!

I'm a 2 year old, 72 lb. German Shepherd with a very sweet heart and an adventurous spirit. I love being with my people, getting outside, playing fetch, and having fun with water. If you're looking for a dog who wants to make memories with you, I'm ready to grab my imaginary backpack and go!

I'm still young, and I'm learning. Unfortunately, I didn't have much training when I was younger, so I'm looking for someone who understands my breed and will continue helping me learn through positive reinforcement. I'm smart, eager to learn, and I've already shown just how much progress I can make when someone gives me the time and patience I need!

I'm also working on my feelings around other dogs. I can be dog reactive, but I've made so much progress and am learning that seeing another dog doesn't have to be a big deal. I'm still practicing, so for now, I'd be happiest as the only pet in my home. We don't know my history with cats, so I'll need a cat-free home as well.

I'd do best with kids 10 and older who understand that I'm still learning and may sometimes need a little space. What I really need is someone who will see past the things I'm still working on and notice all the wonderful things I already am.
