Wendy (S26-138) - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Peyton, Colorado

**Meet Wendy!**

Wendy is a 2-year-old German Shepherd weighing 75 pounds. This sweet, shy girl has a loving side that shines when she feels comfortable. She enjoys attention from people and will often let you sit with her while she soaks up all the pets you have to offer.

Wendy is continuing to build her confidence, and she will need a patient family willing to give her the time, love, and encouragement she needs to feel safe and secure. Allowing her to adjust at her own pace and building trust through positive experiences will help her continue to blossom.

Our team has dog-tested Wendy at the shelter, and she has shown significant improvement when paired with a social, confident dog. Because of this, Wendy requires a home with another dog who can provide companionship and help her continue building confidence as she adjusts to her new surroundings.

Wendy is looking for a loving, understanding family who will celebrate her progress, give her time to settle in, and help her discover how wonderful life can be. With patience, affection, and a social canine companion by her side, Wendy has the potential to become a wonderful lifelong friend.

A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for Wendy, any resident dogs, and her potential adopters.
