Koralie - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Palm Desert, California

Koralie is an approximately 1-year-old, 25-lb female Shepherd mix who came to us severely malnourished and extremely underweight — truly skin and bones. She is friendly, gentle and passive, but currently tired and focused on recovering. She is extremely hungry and eats very quickly, consistent with prolonged food deprivation. She arrived with ticks and is receiving medical care and nutritional support. Koralie was scheduled to be spayed, but the veterinarian determined she was too underweight to safely undergo surgery. Her spay has been postponed until she gains sufficient weight and is medically cleared.
