DESCRIPTION
Meet Maxie!
Maxie is an approx 5 year old, 55 lb, shepherd/husky mix girlie who, due to no fault of her own, has found herself without a home of her home. You see, one of her owners left to join the military and the other unexpectedly moved out of the country which left poor Maxie and another dog with no where to go. A friend of the family took them in and asked Hair of the Dog Rescue if we could assist in helping them find new homes. Maxie's sister has been adopted already and now it's Maxie's turn.
Maxie is basically a big lap dog. She loves to cuddle and be near her people. She is house trained, crate trained, active, loves to play fetch and would be a great hiking/jogging buddy. She has house manners because she has lived her entire life in a home. She seems to prefer small dogs over large ones and is a bit indifferent towards cats.
She's a beautiful girl who really needs someone to give her a second chance at a permanent home. She's deserves it!
