Meet Whiskey!
Whiskey is a 10-month-old German Shepherd/Mastiff mix who spent months in a cement kennel at Norco Animal Shelter before we rescued him.

After spending less than 2 weeks with our rescue we was adopted by a young family. We thought he finally had his forever home... but less than a week later, he was returned because his family couldn’t handle his puppy energy.

The truth? Whiskey is a lot of puppy. He’s large, strong, energetic, and still learning his manners. But he is also INCREDIBLY sweet, loving, dog-friendly, curious about cats, and has not an ounce of mean in him.

Whiskey’s ideal home:

+ An experienced, patient owner who understands large breeds and shelter dogs and is willing to put in the time, training, and consistency he needs.
+ No toddlers! He’s a big puppy who identifies as a lap dog and isn’t aware of his size.
+ an active home! This boy loves to run and chase balls! The more exercise to get the energy out the better! A restless puppy=mischievous puppy
+ a large yard with another dog to run and play with!

Whiskey is:
+ Fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped
+ Crate trained
+ Dog friendly
+ Intelligent and a quick learner! We have been working on basic commands and he’s been catching on quickly! Treats help too
+ Great on a leash! (An 11 year old can walk him with zero issues! )
+ A lover and absolute cuddle bug!
+ The absolute sweetest dog and looking for his second chance at life!

We cannot let his happen again to Whiskey. He may be a little work in progress, typical of any puppy, but he deserves so much more and has so much love to give.
