Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations:

2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express

3rd Saturday, Modesto - Strand Hardware Store

4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express

All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once.

Della is a female estimated to be 1.5 years old and weighing 77 lbs and has been added to tomorrow's adoption day line up.This girl came from a local shelter as a stray, so we have no history on her past. The shelter told us she was used as a tester dog, so that says a lot about her with other dogs. In a video they shared, she seemed indifferent toward the other dog, preferring attention from the humans. You can see that she is getting along well with one of the dogs in her foster home.She received a bath just out of the shelter and you can see she appears happy, even while getting a bath. She appears housebroken, but hasn't been given much freedom as she's new to her foster home. Cats, small dogs or critters are unknown.Level 2

(Adoption Process) We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
