Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations:

2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express

3rd Saturday, Modesto - Strand Hardware Store

4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express

All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once.

Damien is a 3-month old black and tan puppy. He came to us from a local shelter. Like all puppies, he is learning to experience the world around him and all it has to offer.Damien is currently working on his house manners. He quickly figured out how to get in and out of the house through the dog door and loves to head back into the cool air conditioned house but is still figuring out that it should also be used for potty breaks. He is also working on crate training and does well to sleep in his crate so long as he knows his human is close by.Damien has been pretty bold in working to finding a playmate. He would love nothing more than a happy and energetic companion to play with him. He is currently learning to take social queues and corrections from the adult dogs in his foster home.

For more information and to see when this dog will be attending an Adoption Day, please see our Dogs page on our main website. (Adoption Process) We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
