This beautiful 5-year-old shepherd is searching for the forever family shes been waiting for!

Manukas story is a heartbreaking one. She was surrendered to a shelter in Texas after her owner became a victim of domestic violence. To keep Manuka safe and out of the wrong hands, the shelter designated her Rescue Only, ensuring she could leave only with a reputable rescue organization.

Despite everything shes been through, Manuka has remained an incredibly loving and gentle girl.

She is great with dogs and kids. She hasnt met any cats yet, so her feline compatibility is still a mystery. She loves going for walks, relaxing on a restaurant patio, and if youre enjoying a meal, dont be surprised if she politely asks for a tiny taste or two.

Shes housebroken, crate trained, and trustworthy enough to have free roam of the house while youre away she will happily spend the day napping until her favorite people come home. Like many shepherds, Manuka is incredibly loyal, and nothing makes her happier than being by your side.

Manuka is currently being fostered in the Dallas area, but transport is available to the Northeast and Colorado for the right family.
