Potter is an approximately 5-year-old mixed breed with the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. After spending nearly a year waiting in the shelter, he’s finally getting the chance to show everyone just how wonderful he is—and he’s more than ready to find a family to call his own.

Potter is a pretty laid-back guy. His favorite pastime is lounging around the house, soaking up naps, and simply being wherever his people are. He’s the ultimate velcro dog and will happily follow you from room to room just to curl up nearby. If you’ll let him, he’d spend all day cuddling with you on the couch.

When he’s feeling playful, Potter loves a good game of fetch and absolutely adores his stuffed toys. He also enjoys going for walks and playing with his foster sister before settling in for another well-earned nap.

Potter is fully potty trained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. He’s currently working with a trainer on his basic commands and is eager to learn. Once he’s mastered those, he’ll begin focusing more on dog-to-dog interactions.

Right now, Potter does best with larger dogs who respect his space. He’s not quite comfortable around small dogs yet, but he’s making great progress and continuing to build his confidence through training.
