This sweet senior girl was picked up as a stray and quickly placed on the shelter’s euthanasia list. We pulled her without a plan because we simply couldn’t let her spend her final moments alone in such a frightening place.

Since arriving at the sanctuary, Spirit has shown herself to be a gentle soul who loves routine, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and truly appreciates the comfort of being safe and cared for. Despite everything she’s been through, her quiet gratitude and loving nature shine through every day.

We can only imagine how much joy Spirit will find in finally having a family and home of her very own.
