Betsie was running out of time at a high-kill shelter due to a hip injury, and we knew we had to give her the second chance she deserved. Through every step of her journey—from before surgery to recovery—she never stopped being the sweetest, happiest girl. Betsie is approximately 2 1/2 years old and has the sweetest personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she knows you, she's an affectionate lovebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She absolutely adores other dogs and would love a canine companion to play and explore with.

Some of Betsie's favorite things include playing with her dog friends, curling up next to her favorite person for a nap, soaking up plenty of scratches, and joining her family on new adventures. She has left her difficult past behind and is ready to embrace all the joy life has to offer.
