German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Lucas, Texas

Ben is a 11 month old German Shepherd mix weighing about 45 lbs who has already been through more than any dog should. He was found as a stray and sadly ended up on the euthanasia list before being given a second chance at life.

Not every dog comes perfectly groomed or camera ready ,but every one of them deserves a chance.

If you’re looking for a new family member and are willing to make a difference in a dog’s life, here’s your opportunity to help Ben.

When he first came to us, his skin was in rough shape, but look at him now. With care, love, and patience, his skin is continuing to heal beautifully every day. His coat is slowly coming back, and you can see just how much better he’s feeling.

Despite everything he’s been through, Ben is a sweet, gentle and loving boy who still trusts people and just wants affection. He’s friendly with people and other dogs and would love a family that will help him continue to heal and feel safe.

Ben is ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter with a forever family who will see the beautiful soul behind the rough start and give him the life he deserves.
