Marietta is currently on borrowed time at a high kill shelter in California. We are trying to get her here but we need a solid commitment to foster or adopt her. She is young and friendly, would be a great family dog and companion. This is very urgent as she can be euthanized any day now. Please call or email us asap.

This beautiful girl is a perfect little angel in her kennel, often sitting patiently by the door just waiting for someone to stop and say hi. She is sweet, affectionate, and wonderful on leash. Marietta is absolutely a Velcro pup who loves staying close to her people and is usually found leaning against your side. She even has a habit of walking between your legs for maximum contact and attention.

In the yard, this cutie loves using her nose and exploring the world around her. She is very food motivated and still needs a little work on taking treats gently, but her goofy personality shines brighter the more comfortable she becomes. Once youve earned her friendship (especially with snacks involved), her silly and sassy side comes out in full force. She makes the funniest facial expressions and will zoomie around the yard with pure joy. She seems somewhat interested in toys, but honestly, people are way more exciting to her.

If you couldnt tell already, Marietta has a comically pointy nose and she absolutely loves to use it. Expect plenty of boops, pokes, and nudges for attention. She is an incredibly affectionate girl who rubs against people over and over like a cat. If youre someone who values personal space... Marietta may not be the dog for you.

In doggie playgroups, Marietta is a bouncy bundle of joy who comes into the yard full of excitement and enthusiasm. She can be very vocal at first, loudly announcing her arrival and all her excitement to the other dogs, but it is mostly just playful chatter and energy. She may be a little nervous during introductions at first, but once she realizes everyone is friendly, she settles in quickly and turns almost instantly playful. Before long, she is happily romping around the yard and enjoying herself with the other dogs.

Marietta would do great in a semi-active home, is such a fun, loving, cuddly, goofy girl who has been waiting patiently for someone to give her the chance she deserves!
