If you are looking for a wonderful companion that has been aged like a fine wine, Sue is your girl! Sue is an 11 years young, petite GSD Mix, weighing in at just under 50 pounds. Sue is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She has the most loveable eyes, and her ears have a life of their own!
Sue generally gets along well with other dogs that are respectful and match her energy. Sue still gets bursts of the cutest zoomies for a few moments at a time, which are followed by relaxation time in the sun or her crate. Sue is both house and crate trained; sometimes she will choose to lay in her crate on her own (as she knows it is her safe space).
This sweet gal is a superstar on her leash and knows basic commands like sit, stay, up, come, down and place. Sue does prefer to eat solo and is a lady about eating in her crate. Sue is a relationship dog and does best with structured introductions with new people, but to know her is to love her as she warms quickly with encouragement and positive reinforcement. Sue will most likely do best in an adult only home or calmer home with older children.
She loves to observe her surroundings, take naps throughout the day, go on long walks, and cuddle with her humans. Her energy level tends to match that of her humans; she is always down for a long walk or chilling while her humans watch TV. She will seek affection by placing her head on your lap, which is certain to make your heart melt every time.
