Lainey, formerly known as Sprinkles, had been sitting at Riverside for more than SIX MONTHS — 183+ days. She originally came in as a stray with six puppies. Her babies were adopted, but somehow their beautiful mama was left behind waiting... and waiting... and waiting.

She was scheduled to lose her life.

Not today, sweet girl. Not today.

Journey Home said YES.

Lainey is a gorgeous 5-year-old, 62-pound German Shepherd who has been described as social, smart and sweet. She has participated in numerous playgroups, has shared a kennel with another dog, walks pretty well on leash and definitely knows when her handler has treats!

After 183 days in a shelter kennel, this girl deserves to decompress, learn what it feels like to truly be home, and discover just how amazing her next chapter can be.
