Born April 10, 2026, Mandy is a German Shepherd mix with possible Belgian Malinois in the family tree. She is sweet, smart, athletic, and definitely not planning on being a couch potato anytime soon!

Mandy can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but give her a little time and patience and her playful personality comes shining through. She loves other dogs and does well with children. She will bark at cats, but she does not chase them, so continued positive exposure may help her learn that cats are friends, not neighborhood watch suspects.

She is doing well with housebreaking, has been spayed, and is current on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.

Her ideal home will be active and ready to keep both her body and brain busy. German Shepherds and Malinois are intelligent, loyal, energetic working breeds, so Mandy will thrive with regular exercise, training, structure, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to learn. Hiking, long walks, games, adventures, and training sessions would all be right up her alley.
