Hiya Friends! My name is October and I'm a beautiful 1yr old female German Shepherd. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport.

Quick Facts
Age: 1yr old
Kids: would do fine with older kids (10+)
Dogs: good with large dogs
Cats: NO cats
Training: needs standard obedience training

1. I was in a scary shelter all alone, beginning to shut down. Concrete kennels are not good for ladies like me. Thankfully IDGSR busted me outta there & now I'm in a great foster home!

2. I'm a young girl and am still learning all sorts of things. Please be patient with me as I navigate house & crate training. If you have yummy treats, I'll pick up obedience commands quickly!

3. My dream home is with a person or family who will give me lots of love, a dog bed of my own, tasty treats, take me on walks, give lots of tummy rubs, and help me live my best life.

4. I would love to explore in the neighborhood or on walking trails, play zoomy tag with a nice male doggo, and snuggle on the couch.

5. If you are looking for a beautiful, young, resilient, friendly, athletic, and lovely new companion - I'm your girl!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
