DESCRIPTION

Meet Bella & Jackson

Two special dogs, two very different personalities, and somehow always ONE favorite ball.

Bella and Jackson are a wonderful pair who have shown us just how quickly they can adjust to new surroundings. Through all the changes in their lives, they still find happiness in the simple things — being near their people, getting lots of pets, relaxing on the furniture when they think nobody is looking, and of course arguing over the same ball...even when there are plenty of others available.

And if you're sitting down, be prepared! Both have discovered that climbing up to ask for pets is a perfectly acceptable way to get your attention.

Jackson — The Goofy, Curious One

Jackson is alert, curious, goofy and always busy. He has medium-to-high energy and an independent personality. He can sometimes be a little willful, but that's part of his charm.

He's also a picky eater and definitely NOT a fan of water. Apparently, getting wet was not included in Jackson's contract.

Jackson loves attention from his people and will happily jump up beside you when he decides it's time for some affection.

He can be reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and people around the perimeter of the property, so he will need someone who understands his behavior and can provide him with structure, patience and guidance.

Bella — The Sweet & Happy Girl

Bella is the sweet, happy and more easygoing half of this duo. She is obedient, independent and medium energy, and she loves simply lying down near her person and enjoying their company.

Bella takes treats very gently and is a good eater. And unlike Jackson, Bella LOVES the water!

She isn't typically reactive, but she can have a dominant personality. And one little warning...

Watch out for that tail! When Bella is happy, everyone and everything nearby may know it!

What They Need Most

Bella and Jackson have already experienced some big changes in their lives. Through it all, they have continued to adjust, trust and show everyone their wonderful personalities.

They don't need anything fancy. They need people who will understand their individual quirks, laugh at their silliness, give them plenty of love and remind them every day that they are safe.

A home where there are balls to argue over, furniture to secretly claim, plenty of pets to go around — and maybe a little water for Bella while Jackson watches safely from a distance.

Most of all, Bella and Jackson are looking for something every dog deserves: a family and a place to truly call home.
