If you're looking for a classic German Shepherd with a soft heart and just the right touch of sweetness, Miss Lacey is ready to win you over!
At 3.5 months old, this beautiful black and tan girl is part of a litter of eight and was the very first to have both ears standing tall, already showing off that iconic German Shepherd look! She may not be the most outgoing at first, but don't let that fool you. Lacey warms up fairly quickly and, once she does, she's constantly seeking out affection and love.
She's the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and wants to be close to her people. Whether it's leaning in for pets or quietly staying by your side, Lacey has a gentle, loving presence that makes her easy to adore.
Lacey is on the same structured routine as her siblings, including consistent feeding times, play sessions, crate time, and sleep schedule. She's an early riser and a great sleeper, settling in well overnight. Like the rest of her litter, she enjoys playtime with her siblings but is just as happy to tire herself out and curl up for a cozy nap afterward.
You can see her in action here! https://youtu.be/x0wDxRsEgy0
She has a natural herd mentality and enjoys following along with her siblings, learning from them and staying close to the group. She's currently working on both crate training and potty training, and both are going extremely well with consistency.
Lacey is being raised in the same active environment as her siblings and does wonderfully with the neighborhood kids who come to visit. She loves playing with them and has quickly become a favorite among everyone she meets.
Like all puppies, Lacey will need continued patience and guidance as she grows, but she is already off to an amazing start. With her affectionate nature, steady temperament, and classic Shepherd traits, she has all the potential to become an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
Miss Lacey isn't just another puppy; she's the kind of dog who quietly becomes your heart!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dogs growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap, which ranges from $100 to $1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
