Some puppies are perfectly happy letting life happen around them. Autumn? She wants to be right in the middle of it.
She's the little girl happily trotting over to see what you're doing, proudly carrying around a toy that's almost as big as she is, and making sure she doesn't miss out on anything fun. She's got this adorable little spark about her that just makes you smile. She's a little spunkier than her brothers, a little more adventurous, and already showing us she's got a fun personality all her own.
But don't let that confident little spirit fool you. Underneath it all is one incredibly sweet puppy that loves her people, loves her toys, and is always happy to soak up a cuddle once playtime is over. She has that perfect mix of playful, affectionate, curious, and confident that makes puppyhood so much fun. Honestly... she's the kind of puppy that's going to keep you laughing one minute and completely melt your heart the next.
Autumn is currently thriving in a foster home where she's beginning to explore the world through play, naps, mealtime routines, and gentle socialization. Right now life is wonderfully simple. Chase a toy. Wrestle with her siblings. Eat. Nap. Wake up and do it all over again. It's a pretty great life if you ask her.

This sweet girl is Autumn. She is approximately 1 month old and currently weighs around 10 lbs. We believe she may be a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, but with rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed.
Autumn is everything you'd hope for in a puppy. She's playful, curious, sweet, and absolutely loves toys. Give her something to chase, carry around, or investigate and she's one happy little girl. She has this fun personality that's already starting to shine. She's confident enough to check out new things first, independent enough to entertain herself for a bit, and just mischievous enough to keep you smiling. Nothing over the top, just enough puppy shenanigans to remind you she's still a baby discovering the world.
One thing that's impossible to miss is that Autumn seems pretty convinced she's the little princess of the litter. Her brothers may be bigger one day, but right now she's got no problem keeping up with them and occasionally acting like she's the one calling the shots. It's honestly pretty adorable. She has this quiet confidence that makes her fun to watch, but she's never too busy for affection. Once she's finished her latest puppy adventure, she's more than happy to curl up with her people and recharge before doing it all over again.
One of the best parts about adopting a puppy is getting to experience all of life's firsts together. Her first walk. Her first camping trip. Her first birthday. Her first swim. Watching her discover the world and grow into the amazing dog she's meant to become is something you'll never forget. These puppy days go by so quickly, and whoever adopts Autumn gets to be there for every exciting milestone.
Like every puppy, Autumn will need a family that's ready to invest the time, patience, and consistency puppyhood requires. Continued socialization, routine, boundaries, training, and lots of positive experiences will help her grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We also require adopters to begin crate training right away, as it plays an important role in potty training, learning healthy routines, building confidence, and helping puppies settle independently.
If you've been dreaming about raising a puppy that's sweet, playful, confident, full of personality, and just the right amount of spunky, Autumn is ready to make your house a whole lot happier. All she needs now is a family to grow up with, plenty of toys to carry around, and people to love for the rest of her life.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog's growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap -- ranging from $100-$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
