Rapunzel is a one-year-old girl with an incredible story of resilience. She came into rescue from a severe abuse and neglect case, where she was found emaciated with an embedded collar. She has since made a full recovery, including completing heartworm treatment, and is ready to find the loving family she deserves.

Despite everything she's been through, Rapunzel absolutely loves people. She's incredibly affectionate, great with new people and children, and has all the fun, playful energy of a young dog. She's also very intelligent, loves learning new tricks, and is both potty trained and kennel trained.

Rapunzel would do well with larger dogs given very slow introductions, but she is not a good fit for homes with small dogs or cats due to her prey drive.

Her past never stole her ability to trust or love. Rapunzel has a heart as big as they come and is ready to give her forever family all the love they could ever ask for.
