Hi future family- Lemonade here! Just like the summer drink favorite I'm named for, I'm sweet in all the right ways! I'm looking for my FURever family. My foster folks are great and all, but I desperately want a family to love forever.

Before you commit to me as a permanent member of your family, I should probably share some things about myself! First off, I absolutely love people and promise to be your shadow for the rest of my days. I love following my foster parents around the house and am never far from them if I can help it. I sleep all night in my crate without a peep and haven't even had an accident since I've been here! My foster mom says that with regular potty breaks, she'd call me potty trained.

While I tend to be timid with new things, people and dogs, once you give me 5-10 mins to warm up I'm golden. I'm just cautious and need a minute to make sure new things are safe! And boy have I seen new things. In just the last week I've been introduced to car rides, walks, other dogs, cats, horses and farm equipment! I loved everything after a chance to look at it, especially the kitties and other dogs. My foster mom says I would benefit from a confident dog in my forever home, otherwise I'd be just fine as an only dog! I desperately want to play with the kitties but do listen to their corrections well, so a dog confident cat who doesn't run would be just fine! My foster mom has noticed that my toddler human brother makes me a little nervous when he runs up on me, so she says it's best if I go to a home with kids older than 7, so that they can be old enough to understand that I don't like that. I walk very nicely on a leash and while I still need to learn most commands, I respond well to direction and am quick learner and very smart.
